Cape Town (South Africa) – The organisers of the Cape’s most loved 10km road race, the Absa Cape Town 12 ONERUN are proud to announce the route for 2017.
“Continuing to shine the spotlight on the Mother City’s most iconic landmarks, the 3rd annual Absa Cape Town 12 ONERUN will incorporate the best of 2016 and 2015,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. “The race will once again start at Woodbridge Island in Milnerton. Hugging the coastline through the Harbour, runners will be guided past key city landmarks, including the CTICC and Grand Parade before finishing at the Portside building in the heart of Cape Town.”
“We are very excited to announce that after an absence in 2016, The Company Gardens will once again form part of the Absa Cape Town 12 ONERUN,” continues Meyer. “Apart from its beauty and amazing ambiance, The Gardens forms part of South Africa’s history. We are proud to celebrate this history with thousands of runners. Those runners that are in a hurry will be happy to hear that the route changes will not influence the speed of the route. It remains reasonably flat with some hills in the City.”
