  • There will be NO Race Pack Collection on the day of the event nor after the event. And no race packs will be given to entrants after the event.

The Absa RUN YOUR CITY CAPE TOWN 10K will once again be the most exciting route to run with activity and entertainment along the way – dancers, cheerleaders, marimba bands, drummers and so much more!

Substitutions are permissible until 14 April 2023 via the Entry Ninja platform.

Please park your vehicle and make your way to Grand Parade, there you will get onto the MyCiTi buses which will transport you to the start at Woodbridge Island, Milnerton.

 

The first bus leaves The Grand Parade at 06h30 and the last bus leaves at 08h30. Please ensure you arrive early.

There is ample parking in the city surrounding the Grand Parade and Finish area.

Please park your vehicle and make your way to Grand Parade, there you will get onto the MyCiTi buses which will transport you to the start at Woodbridge Island, Milnerton.

 

Athletes participating in wheelchairs will be required to start at the back of the field.

Batching and start times to be confirmed. 

 

  • Start is on Marine Drive (R27) at Woodbridge Island
  • Straight on Marine Drive (R27) on the outbound lane passing Paarden Eiland.
  • Onto the N1 on the outbound lane towards the city keeping right onto FW De Klerk Boulevard.
  • Turn left into Heerengracht Road and continue straight up into Adderley Street.
  • Turn right into Wale Street and then right into Long Street
  • Final stretch down Long Street, crossing Hans Strijdom Street to the finish line on Lower Long Street.

 

  • The 20m before and after the Finish line are a ‘No Go zone’ and Covid compliant area. Please ensure you are spaced out as you cross the finish line and keep your arms away from your race number so that you can be photographed and recorded clearly.
  • No one must accompany you into the finish or over the line. “Selfies” and stopping will not be allowed in the No Go Zone – please keep moving to exit the No Go Zone.
  • Keep moving as you are directed into a lane where you will receive your finishers medal and cold refreshments.
  • The tog bag trucks will be stationed in Lower Long Street where you can collect your tog bag 
  • Congratulations, you did it, your race is over. 
  • Long Street restaurants and coffee shop retail stores will be open and willing to assist anyone wishing to find somewhere for post-event eats, drinks and celebrations.
